Oil prices are regaining their positions in the course of trading on Thursday, after a significant decline on the eve. Restoration of positions is facilitated by partial fixation of profits on short positions in anticipation of a monthly report by IEA.
Earlier, pressure on oil quotations was provided by a disappointing report of the OPEC, which revised the outlook for the growth of supplies of raw materials by non cartel countries for the year 2018 in the direction of increase. See “Analysis of the American Trading Session.“
- At the moment, WTI crude oil is trading at $ 56.84, adding about + 0.42% to the price.
- Brent crude oil is trading at around $ 62.95, adding about + 0.82% to the price.
