Oil (current news)
Oil prices keep rising dynamics at the beginning of the European session. During today’s trading, the Brent price for the first time since 2015 exceeded the $ 65.00 mark. The catalyst for the growth in oil prices was the suspension of the Forties pipeline due to the repair, which accounts for 40% of the supply of oil and gas from the North Sea. This caused fear of a reduction in supply in the market. Today, market participants will expect data on oil reserves in the US by API, which could restrain further growth in oil prices.
- At the moment, WTI crude oil is trading at $ 58.36, adding about + 0.64% to the price.
- Brent crude oil is trading at around $ 65.32, adding about + 0.97% to the price.
