Overview of the main drivers. Stock indices and oil

The main European stock indices are growing in the course of trading on Friday. The British FTSE 100 added to the quotes by about + 0.60%, thereby exerting only a slight pressure on the pound against the US dollar. DAX and CAC 40 on average grew by + 1.10%, which also exerts some pressure on the single currency against the American. See Quotations.

Oil prices fell during the European session, losing some of the positions amid profit-taking by investors, while Brent crude currently loses about -0.15% of positions, WTI added about + 0.30%. This decline in oil prices has put some pressure on commodity currencies against the US dollar. More See “Oil (current news)“
