On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, attention should be paid to the US economic calendar, namely the data on the consumer price index and retail sales. The consumer price index measures changes in the price of goods and services, with the exception of food and energy from the consumer’s point of view. This is the key way to measure changes in the buying and inflation trends in the US.

• Analysts forecast is that the growth of the base CPI in October will be 0.2%, which is higher than the previous value at the level of 0.1%. On an annualized basis, the growth rate remains at 1.7%.
• The base retail sales index will grow by 0.2% in October, down from the previous level of 1.0%.
• The volume of retail sales in October will show growth at the level of 0.1%, which is lower than the September figure at 1.6%.

In case of data release within the forecast, the US dollar will be under pressure. So, one should expect the US dollar to fall within 40-50 points against its competitors.
