These values are important indicators of consumer spending and the pace of economic development.
According to the forecast, the base retail sales index in December will change by 0.0%, against the growth in November at 1.6%. The change in the volume of retail sales will make in December – 0.1%, against the growth in the previous period at 0.2%. The release of data within the forecast will put pressure on the Canadian currency, against which the decrease in the range of 30-40 points is expected.
