Market focus

On Tuesday, 02.10.2018, the market will switch from business activity data to the RBA meeting results and the speech of the US Federal Reserve Chairman. It is expected that the Reserve Bank of Australia will leave the interest rate at the same level and keep the general course of monetary policy unchanged, but the  fact of publication of such news will cause an increase in activity for the Australian dollar.

The second significant event of the day will be the speech of US Federal Reserve Chairman Powell, who will probably repeat the statements made during the press conference of the US Federal Reserve, that may serve as a reason for the resumption of optimism in the US currency.
