Market focus

On Friday, September 14, 2018, the week promises to close busy economic calendar. In the Asia-Pacific session, the market will focus on business activity in New Zealand and China. Particularly worthy of note is the data on China: industrial production and the unemployment rate, that play a significant role not only for the Chinese, but also for the world economy.

At the European session, attention will shift to the data on the trade balance of the euro area and the speech of the head of the Bank of England, triggering an increase in activity in European currencies.

Data on retail sales in the US will close the day and week, that is expected to decline and could increase pressure on the US currency by the end of the day.
