On Thursday, 01.02.2018, attention should be focused on the data on the index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of the United States from ISM. The index of production activity of the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) reflects the production activity for the previous month. These data are considered a very important and reliable economic indicator.

According to the forecast, in January the indicator fell to the level of 58.3, against the previous value at the level of 59.7. If the data is released within the forecast, the US dollar will be under pressure. If the actual indicator deviates from the forecast by 10%, one should expect the US dollar to move against the basket of currencies within 30-40 points.
