Among all published data, it is worth paying attention to data on the costs of individuals in the United States. Consumption in the US is the largest component of the GDP formation, and personal spending is a key factor in economic growth.

According to the forecast, the basic price index of spending on personal consumption in December will keep growing at the level of 0.1%. On an annualized basis, the growth of the indicator will slow to 1.4%, against the previous level of 1.5%. Expenses of individuals in December will grow by 0.3%, which is less than the November growth rate at 0.6%. In case of the release of data within the forecast, the US dollar will be under some pressure, one should expect its decline at around 30 points against competitors.
