On Tuesday, January 22, the day is full of data on employment in the UK, business activity in the euro area, sales in Canada and data on the secondary real estate market in the United States.

- At 13:00 – industrial orders index (CBI) (January) in the UK.
- At 15:30 – retail sales in Canada will be published: core retail sales index (m/m) (November) and retail sales (m/m) (November).
- At 23:30 – API weekly crude oil inventories in the United States.
On Thursday, January 24, the day is full of news, but the market’s main attention will be focused on the ECB meeting results.
- At 02:30 – an employment report in Australia will be published: employment change (December), full employment change (December) and unemployment level (December).
- At 10:30 – manufacturing business index (PMI) of Germany (January) and index of business activity in the German services sector (January).
- At 11:00 – data on business activity in the Eurozone: manufacturing business index (PMI) (January), Markit composite index of business activity (PMI) (January) and service sector index of business activity (January).
- At 14:45 – the ECB meeting results will be published: the rate on deposit funds, the margin lending rate of the ECB and the interest rate decision (January).
- At 15:30 – initial jobless claims in the US and the press conference of the ECB will be released.
- At 16:45 – data on US business activity: manufacturing business index (PMI) (January), Markit composite business index (PMI) (January), and service sector index (PMI) (January).
- At 18:00 – stocks of crude oil in the United States.
On Friday, January 25, you should pay attention to the data for Japan, Germany and the USA.
- At 01:30 – Tokyo will announce core consumer price index (CPI) (y/y) (January) in Japan.
- At 11:00 – data on Germany will be released: Germany’s business expectations index, assessment of the current situation in Germany and IFO business climate index in Germany.
- At 11:30 – gross mortgage approvals in the UK will be published.
- At 15:30 – US data will be released: core durable goods orders (m/m) (December) and durable goods orders (m/m) (December).
- At 20:00 – number of Baker Hughes oil rigs in the USA will be published.
