– Unemployment rate (December),  forecast  5.1%,  previous value 5.1%.

At 10:30 – data on business activity in Germany will be released:
– Index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of Germany (January),  forecast  51.3,  previous value  51.5.
– Index of business activity in the services sector in Germany (Jan), forecast 52.1, previous value  51.8.

At 11:00 –  data on business activity in the euro area:
– Manufacturing PMI (Jan), forecast 51.4, previous 51.4.
– Markit Composite business activity index (PMI) (Jan), forecast 51.4, previous value 51.1.
– Index of business activity in the services sector (January),  forecast of 51.5,  previous value  51.2.

At 14:45 – the ECB meeting results will be published:

– ECB marginal lending facility,  forecast  0.25%,  previous value  0.25%.
– Interest rate decision (January),  forecast 0.00%,  previous value  0.00%.

At 15:30 –  initial jobless claims in the US,  forecast 220K, previous value  213K.

Also at 15:30 – the ECB will hold a press conference.

At 16:45 – data on business activity in the United States:
– Manufacturing PMI (Jan), forecast 53.5, previous 53.8.
– Markit Composite business activity index (PMI) (Jan),  previous value  54.4.
– Business activity index (PMI) in the service sector (January),  forecast 54.1,  previous value  54.4.

At 18:00 – the oil inventories in the United States will be announced:
– Crude oil inventories, forecast -0.435M, previous -2.683M.
– Cushing (Oklahoma) Crude oil inventories,  previous value -0.743M.
