The British pound remains stable against the US dollar after the publication of data on business activity in the services sector of the UK.

• The index of business activity in the services sector in April was 52.8, which is lower than the forecast at 53.0, but still exceeds the previous value of 51.7.

Technical analysis: The pair GBP/USD keeps a downward trend in the short term. The closest support levels are 1.3550, 1.3500. The resistance levels are 1.3665, 1.3710.
