FOCUS OF THE DAY: Employment report in the USA!
Dear traders,
Labor Department will release the nonfarm payrolls report for August at 15:30 Kyiv time, and it will be watched more for what it says about wages than hiring.
The consensus forecast is that the data will show jobs growth of 190 thousand after adding 150 thousand positions in June. while the unemployment rate is seen inching down to 3.9% from 3.8%.
However, most of the focus will likely be on average hourly earnings figures, which are expected to rise 0.2% a tad slower than the 0.3% increase a month earlier.
On an annualized basis, wages are forecast to increase 2.7% the same gain reported in July. (Investing.com)
