GDP report in the UK for the second quarter will be published today, at 11:30 Kiev time.
It is expected that the UK GDP in annual and quarterly terms will remain at the level of preliminary data of 1.3% and 0.4% respectively, indicating the preservation of the downward dynamics of UK GDP, which has been maintained since the end of 2014.
Data on Canada’s GDP for the previous month will be published today, at 15:30 Kiev time.
According to forecasts we shouldn’t expect an unambiguous report from the data on Canada’s GDP. Thus, on an annual basis (y/y) of Canada’s GDP, 2.2% is expected against the previous value of 2.4%. From the monthly (m/m) indicators, a restrained growth of 0.1% is expected against the previous value of 0.0%.
As a result, forecasts remain ambiguous, adding uncertainties. General dynamics of Canada’s GDP remains descending and limited to the year’s lows. (Anton Hanzenko)
