Data on the US retail sales will be today at 15:30 Kiev time. Forecasts suggested that retail sales are expected to slow in August and it is a negative factor for the dollar.
- Core index of retail sales (m/m) (Aug), 0.5% forecast, previous value 0.6%.
- Retail sales (m/m) (Aug), forecast 0.4%, previous value 0.5%.
At the same time, this indicator of the US economy remains in the correction phase after a significant increase in May. A decrease of 0.1% will be considered very restrained and will respond to market fluctuations. (Anton Hanzenko)
