FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
The upcoming week promises to be rich in statistics on employment, GDP and inflation of key world economies, on which the main attention of the market will be focused throughout the week.
The week will start very quietly with a day off in the USA and Canada, which will also make this week short and concentrated with news.
On Tuesday, volatility will return to the market in full, thanks to employment data in the UK. It is expected moderate employment growth.
On Wednesday, the economic calendar will reach maximum saturation due to data on Japan’s GDP, Germany’s GDP, UK inflation and US inflation. It will affect national currencies significantly.
On Thursday, the day will also be filled with news, among which it is worth noting: the speech of the Fed chairman, the Australian employment report and retail sales in the UK and the USA. On Friday, an inflation report in the eurozonewill close the week.
From the corporate reporting next week, it is worth noting the reports of the following companies: Cisco (CSCO) (Wednesday) and Walmart (WMT) (Thursday).
From the fundamental news, US-China trade relations will continue to influence the market. Also, the market will continue to monitor the Brexit negotiations and the risks of the Italian budget. (Anton Hanzenko)
