FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
After the publication of employment reports in different sectors of the economy, the economic calendar will become less saturated with news. On Monday, the market expects an information lull. Only meaningful statements can trigger significant growth in volatility on this day.
A busy economic calendar will return on Tuesday. On this day, market attention will be focused on the results of the meeting of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Germany’s trade balance and US statistics. On Wednesday, investors’ attention will shift to data on Australia, China and oil reserves in the US, making a breather before Thursday. On Thursday, the results of the meeting of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, the inflation report in China, employment data in Switzerland and US statistics will be published. On Friday, the saturation of the calendar will not decline and the market is expecting: GDP data in Japan and the United Kingdom, the US inflation report and employment data in Canada.
Corporate calendar for the week remains complete due to the period of corporate reporting. But volatility is obviously going to decline.
Also in the week the market will expect the continuation of the development of negotiations on the trade agreement between the US and China, and thus expect a final decision on 25% of duties on goods, which will set the mood on the market. (Anton Hanzenko)
