FOCUS OF THE WEEK!
Dear traders,
The next week will be the week of the number of financial statements of the US companies for the first quarter. In the coming days, their financial reports will be published by such leaders of the technology sector as Facebook, Amazon and Google.
Investors will also monitor whether the yield of 10-year US Treasuries will exceed the level of 3%. If the yield of the US government bonds exceeds an important level, this will inevitably lead to pressure on the stock market.
Next week, investors’ attention will return to monetary policy amid the meetings of the European Central Bank and the Bank of Japan, as a result of which, nevertheless, no swaying of the boat by prudent monetary policy is expected.
Also, investors will be interested in reports on GDP: reports for the first quarter of 2018 will come out in the US and the UK.
Next week, market players will remain tense on the backdrop of problems in geopolitics and international trade. (Investing.com)
