The euro remains under pressure. Data on business activity in the euro area
The single currency remains under pressure against the US dollar, amid publication of mixed preliminary data on business activity in the Eurozone.
- According to published data, PMI in April fell to 56.0, against the March value of 56.6.
- In turn, the index of business activity in the services sector increased to 55.0, exceeding the previous value at 54.9.
Technical analysis: The pair EUR/USD maintains a downtrend in the short term. The main support levels are 1.2215, 1.2170. The resistance levels are 1,2305, 1,2345.
