EUR / USD today: American dollar remains under pressure

On Friday trading, the EUR / USD pair closed the week with a decline on the general sale of the American dollar. With the opening of the European session on Monday, the pressure on the American dollar resumed despite a decrease in risks.

Events for today:

• 15:30 – will publish the index of business activity in the manufacturing industry from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (USA).

The main driver of the market is the negative mood of the market relative to the US currency. In this case, the US dollar itself is oversold against the main competitors, which can cause an early correction.

Consolidating  EUR / USD pair above 1.2380-1.2400 points to the possibility of further growth to resistance levels: 1.2440-60 and 1.2500. But also do not forget about the oversold US and overbought this pair, a correction on which can return EUR / USD to support levels: 1.2380-50 and 1.2320-00.
