The US dollar is losing ground. Inflation data on the US.

The US dollar moved to a decline against the basket of currencies amid mixed inflation data in the States.

• The consumer price index in November rose by 0.4%, exceeding the previous value of 0.1%. On an annualized basis, the growth rate was 2.2%, exceeding the previous value of 2.0.
• In turn, the basic consumer price index rose by 0.1%, which is lower than the growth of the previous period at 0.2%, on an annualized basis, the growth slowed to 1.7%, against the previous index of 1.8%.

Against the background of this statistics, the US dollar index fell sharply, having receded from the session high at 94,027.
