The US dollar is declining. Data from ISM USA

The US dollar was under pressure and is losing ground against the basket of currencies amid mixed data from the US ISM.

• The index of business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) from ISM in January was 59.1, exceeding the forecast of analysts at 58.3.
• The index of employment in the manufacturing sector from ISM in January fell to 54.2, against the previous value of 58.1.

Also, additional pressure on the US dollar is provided by a decrease in the profitability of the government bonds and negative dynamics of stock exchanges. The decline in the US currency may be restrained on the eve of the publication of a key report on employment in the US.

The US dollar index moves in a narrow range, remaining near the low of the current week, near the mark of 88.61.
