Data on employment in the USA

As expected, in November the change in employment in the US was lower than in the previous period, which had a temporary pressure on the American currency.

• According to published data, the change in the number of people employed in the non-agricultural sector amounted to 228 thousand, which is lower than the previous value at the level of 244 thousand.
• The change in the number of employed in the private non-agricultural sector amounted to 221 thousand, against the previous value of 247 thousand.

Technical Analysis: Based on this statistics on employment, the pair USD/JPY fell by about 20 points, going aside from the highs of today’s trading, but still there is a positive upward movement.

• The main support levels are 113.05; 112.75.
• The main resistance levels are 113.60; 113.85.
