Inflation data in the euro area!
Dear traders,
Today, at 12:00 Kiev time, inflation data in the euro area for June will be published.
According to the consensus forecast, consumer prices are expected to grow by 2.0% in June after an increase of 1.9% in May. The growth of inflation is caused by an increase in energy prices.
Perhaps the core inflation rate will be more important, which doesn’t include energy and food prices. According to forecasts, core inflation will slower slightly to 1.0%, compared to 1.1% in the previous month.
The ECB aims to raise inflation to just below 2% for the eurozone as a whole.
Yesterday, Spain, France, Italy and Germany published their inflation data.
The ECB recently announced its plans to down of the financial stimulus program before the end of this year, but at the same time keep the interest rate at least until mid-summer of 2019. (Investing.com)
