WHAT IS NEW ON THIS WEEK?
Dear traders,
After an eventful week, the main focus of which was tax reform and political events in the US, investors are switching attention to the economic data. Report on employment, which will be published on Friday is the most awaited event of the week.
Market players will also be interested in the China’s trade balance due to the recent signals about the slowdown of the second world economy.
In the UK, analysts expect reports on the index of business activity in the services sector to get new signals about the impact of the EU exit on the British economy.
Also, during the week are expected decisions on the monetary policy of the Reserve Banks of Australia and Canada.
To sum up:
- US Employment Report – The US Department of Labor will publish the October report on employment outside the agricultural sector at 15:30 on Friday (Kyiv).
- China’s trade balance – China will publish data on the trade balance on November at approximately 05:00 on Friday (Kiev).
- On Tuesday at 11:30 (Kiev) will be published a report on the leading services sector in the UK. Index of business activity in the service sector (PMI).
- The decision on the monetary policy of the Bank of Canada. The Bank of Canada’s interest rate decision will be announced at 16:00 on Wednesday (Kyiv).
- The Reserve Bank of Australia’s decision on monetary policy. At 05:30 on Tuesday (Kyiv), the decision of the Reserve Bank of Australia on the interest rate will be announced. Also, in Australia, attention will be drawn to GDP reports for the third quarter, volume of retail sales and trade balance.
- At 00:50 on Friday (Kiev) data on Japan’s GDP for the 3rd quarter will be published.
