The increase in volatility in the oil market was caused by the US president’s statement that the US is breaking the deal with Iran.

So, D. Trump said that the deal with Iran “was a one-sided deal that should not be concluded.” This fully confirmed the market’s expectations regarding the resumption of sanctions against Iran and caused a significant increase in oil prices.
