Analysis of the American trading session

During the American session on Thursday, March 8, 2018, the US dollar strengthened its positions against most of the major currencies of the market. The euro fell significantly against the US dollar in response to ECB President Mario Draghi’s comments. The main pressure on the euro was provided by the Draghi’s concern about the current state of inflation, as well as about trade wars.

The British pound also fell significantly against the US dollar, which was caused by the widespread strengthening of the US currency, as well as the continuing uncertainty about Brexit. Yesterday, the EU issued a warning to the UK that its reluctance to ease its positions could have economic consequences. Earlier, British Prime Minister Theresa May stated that all Brexit discrepancies will be achieved in the coming days.
