Analysis of the American trading session

During the American session on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, the US dollar strengthened its positions against most of the major market currencies. In the market there is a clear transfusion of capital. Major US stock indices finished trading lower: Dow -1.01%, S & P 500 -0.58%, Nasaq -0.07%, which supported the US currency.

The British pound showed mixed dynamics against the US dollar in course of US trading. The main support for the British currency was provided by the decrease in the cross-rate EUR/GBP, the more significant strengthening of the pound against the US dollar was hindered by the widespread strengthening of the US currency.
