Analysis of the American trading session

During the American session on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, the US dollar declined against most of the major market currencies. In general, this dynamics of the US currency was due to technical factors and partial profit-taking by investors after strengthening in the first half of Tuesday trading.

Commodity currencies strengthened their positions against the US dollar in the course of American trading, which was fascilitated by the rise in oil prices. The catalyst for the strengthening of oil was a report on the explosion of an oil pipeline in Libya, which supplies oil to the country’s largest export terminal, Es Sider.
