Analysis of the American trading session
During the American session on Friday, November 17, 2017, the US dollar declined against most of the major market currencies. The main pressure on the US currency was caused by the flight of investors from risk, which caused a decline in world stock indices, as well as uncertainty regarding the US tax reform.
At the beginning of US trading, the US dollar was supported by some positive statistics on construction in the United States. See “The US dollar loses an advantage.” Also, pressure on the US dollar was provided by news from North Korea. A representative of the DPRK at the UN said that North Korea will not conduct any negotiations with the US, as long as the US continues a hostile policy against the DPRK and conducts joint military training with South Korea.
