Analysis of the American trading session
During the American session on Thursday, November 9, 2017, the US dollar declined against most of the major market currencies. The main pressure on the American currency is provided by the possibility of delaying the entry into force of the tax reform. The leaders of the Republican party in the Senate are considering the possibility of delaying the beginning of the reduction of corporate tax in the US until 2019.
The British pound continued to strengthen its positions against the US dollar in the course of US trading based on the positive news related to Brexit. The main support was provided by the message that the UK could increase the amount of payment for withdrawing from the EU to 30 billion pounds. The decision on payment may be delayed by the end of the month, and the final decision on the deal between London and Brussels regarding trade may be postponed until the beginning of the next year.
