Analysis of the past day

On Friday, December 22, despite that the day is full of news, trading on the foreign exchange market was very restrained. The exception was the Canadian dollar, which fell sharply due to the weak statistics on Canada’s GDP.

The dynamics of the US currency and other world currencies remained largely reserved and very limited due to a decrease in activity on the market on Christmas Eve. The US dollar index, despite a slight strengthening because of the correction of positions, managed to approach the maximum of the day, but the overall trend of the American remains descending.
