Analysis of the American session
Trading on the American session on Friday closed the sale of an American against a basket of competitors. The reason for the further decline of the American was the weak statistics on the United States, which heightened market concerns about the slowdown of the US economy in the trade war with China. At the same time, optimism in stock markets remains. In this situation, the dollar acted as a risky asset, which is selling off on signs of a slowdown in the US economy.
The US dollar index at the end of Friday has updated a low at the level of 97.60-50, thereby having won back the growth of the last week. In fact, the dollar index retained its potential for decline, limited to oversold and support levels: 97.50 and 97.30.
