The main events of Thursday!

On Thursday, June 28, the day is fill with significant statistics on the decision about the RBNZ  interest rate and preliminary inflation in the euro area. But the main market focus  will be on data on US GDP.

At 00:00 –  the decision of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand on the interest rate, the forecast is 1.75%, the previous value of 1.75%.

At 02:50 –  the volume of retail sales in Japan (y / y), forecast 1.2%,  previous value 1.5%.

At 09:00 –  data on Germany:
– The volume of retail sales in Germany (m / m), forecast 0.7%, the previous value of 2.3%.
– The consumer climate index in Germany (Gfk), forecast 10.6, the previous value of 10.7.

At 11:00 –  the monthly report of the ECB will be published.

At 15:00 – the consumer price index (CPI) in Germany (m / m), forecast 0.1%, the previous value of 0.5%.

At 15:30 –  data on US GDP:
– US GDP (QoQ), forecast 2.2%, the previous value of 2.2%.
– The US GDP deflator (QoQ), forecast 1.9%, the previous value of 1.9%.
– The number of initial applications for unemployment benefits in the US, forecast 220K, the previous value of 218K.

At 16:30  – the speech of a member of the Committee for Monetary Policy of the Bank of England Haldane.
