The Euro stabilizes. Inflationary data on the euro area

The single currency slows its decline against the US dollar amid mixed euro zone inflation data.

• The basic index of consumer prices, on an annualized basis, retained its value at 0.9%, against analysts’ forecast at 1.0%.
• The consumer price index fell by 1.4% on an annualized basis, against the previous value of 1.5%.
• The producer price index increased by 0.6% in December, exceeding the previous growth of 0.4%. On an annualized basis growth is 2.8%, exceeding the previous value of 2.5%.

Technical analysis: The pair EUR/USD moves in the uplink on H1. The main support levels are 1,2000; 1.1975. The main resistance levels are 1.2085; 1.2110.
