EUR/USD today: the pair keeps a downtrend
On Friday the pair EUR/USD closed with a slight decrease, despite the mixed data on employment in the US. On Friday, there were mixed trends on the news, but the pair just corrected the downward trend.
Events for today:
- 17:00 – the number of open vacancies in the labor market (JOLTS) in the United States.
- 23:30 – weekly stocks of crude oil in the US according to the American Petroleum Institute (API).
With the opening of trading on Monday, the pair EUR/USD resumed a decline on strengthening of the American and maintaining a downtrend. The dollar is supported by the positive dynamics of the stock exchanges. Update of the low at 1.1940 and consolidation below will indicate the possibility of further reduction of the pair to support levels: 1.1870 and 1.1840-50. The resistance levels are: 1.1980 and 1.2000, from which the repulsion is possible.
