At the same time, the speech itself had no effect on the American currency.

The US currency remains under pressure mainly due to a decline in world stock indices and a decrease in the yield of the US state bonds. The decline in stock indices is caused by the negative sentiment, which persists in recent days. An additional factor in the decline in stock indices was data on business activity in the manufacturing sector of China, which slightly decreased.
