Preliminary data on business activity in the manufacturing sector (PMI) of the eurozone turned out to be very positive, thus showing growth in activity in key eurozone countries and in the EU as a whole. Also, judging by the preliminary data, this indicator turned to recovery after a slowdown at the beginning of the year. It is regarded as a positive signal for the eurozone economy.

Against the background of this statistic, the euro accelerated growth against most of the main competitors, but continued to limit itself to overbought against the American dollar, which will limit the strengthening of the EUR/USD pair. Resistance levels: 1.1320 and 1.1340, support: 1.1280 and 1.1260.
